Editing a Service

You can update a service at any time to reflect new pricing, different durations, or changes in how the service is offered. This is a common operation as your business or marketplace evolves.

How to Edit a Service

  1. Go to Services → Services.
  2. Find the service you want to edit.
  3. Click the Edit (pencil) icon in the Actions column.

In the edit dialog you can modify:

  • Service Category and Service Subcategory – Reassign the service if needed.
  • Service Name – Update the customer-facing name.
  • Status – Switch between Active and Inactive.
  • Duration (minutes) – Adjust if service length changes.
  • Price ($) – Update to reflect new pricing.
  • Description – Refine the description or add more detail.

Click Save when you’re done. Changes take effect immediately for new bookings. Existing bookings are not altered automatically.


Best Practices

  • For large marketplaces, communicate major price or duration changes to vendors in advance.
  • Use clear descriptions so customers understand exactly what they are booking.
  • Consider cloning a service (if supported in your setup) before making big structural changes.
